Hundreds of billions of nuclear power construction or open the door to accelerate

The National Energy Administration issued a document to establish a coordination working group to serve the scientific development of nuclear power enterprises.
On May 9, the National Energy Administration announced the "Notice on Establishing a Coordination Mechanism for the Scientific Development of Service Energy Enterprises", officially announcing the establishment of the relevant coordination mechanism for "serving the scientific development of enterprises, serving the development of national energy security, scientific development, and sustainable development.
Article 4 of Part III of the notice clearly mentions that the Nuclear Power Department of the National Energy Administration will take the lead in establishing a coordination working group for the scientific development of nuclear power enterprises and be responsible for establishing relevant working mechanisms. At the same time, it also established six working groups of energy-related industries, including coal enterprises and power enterprises.
The above mechanism is also an important arrangement for nuclear power enterprises when the new National Energy Administration was established in March this year. Some analysts believe that after experiencing the trough in 2011, nuclear power has reached a threshold of rapid development driven by energy consumption, environmental protection and clean demand, and the investment scale of hundreds of billions will tend to be implemented in the next 5 to 7 years.
Nuclear power construction will enter the fast lane
It is reported that the aforementioned coordination mechanism for service energy enterprises is a service mechanism in which the National Energy Administration takes the opportunity of investigating major strategic issues of energy, and the lead department is responsible for setting up a coordination working group for the scientific development of service energy enterprises, with the participation of relevant departments and energy enterprises.
The mechanism aims to regularly report the latest domestic and international energy situation and the progress of major energy work; understand the difficulties faced by energy enterprises and the outstanding problems and contradictions in energy development; and jointly study countermeasures to solve the problems. If we compare it with the "three fixed" plan of the Energy Bureau since this year, we can find that nuclear power and nuclear power supervision have quietly restored their important position in the past.
Whether it was the announcement of the establishment of the Nuclear Power Department last year, or the National Energy Administration launched 18 major strategic issues in April this year, the research on major measures for nuclear power development was included in the domestic energy development strategy. Or the establishment of a series of coordination, research and service mechanisms in the field of nuclear power. All means that as a clean, efficient and realistic energy source, nuclear power will occupy an increasing proportion in the future.
