From July 14 to 16, 2006, the preparation meeting for the start of nuclear butterfly valve and nuclear ball valve of Ling Ao Phase II nuclear power project was held in Shentong Company. Mr. Zheng Keping, deputy general manager of China Guangzhou Nuclear Engineering Company, announced the official start of the localization of nuclear-grade valves for nuclear power plants with million-kilowatt units. Eleven experts from China General Nuclear Corporation and the Second Nuclear Institute attended the meeting. Mr. Song Yinli, Secretary General of China Valve Association, attended the meeting to congratulate and make an important speech. Leaders of the Qidong Municipal Party Committee, the People's Congress, the government, and the CPPCC, as well as leaders of the Nantong Municipal Economic Commission and the Science and Technology Bureau attended the meeting. Qidong Municipal Party Committee Secretary Shen Zhenxin made an important speech. The meeting was a complete success.
