Jiangsu Shentong Valve Co., Ltd. is situated in Nanyang Town, Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, across the Yangtze River from Shanghai. lt enjoys convenient transportation and is just 105km from Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The company has a registered capital of CNY 508 million and specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of new special valves. Our specific products primarily include butterfly valves, ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, check valves, regulating valves, and non-standard valves, covering over 2,000 specifications within 145 series across seven major categories. These products have been widely applied in a variety of fields such as metallurgy, nuclear power, thermal power, petrochemical industry, coal chemical industry, gathering and transportation of natural gas, shipbuilding, and ocean engineering. Maintaining robust assets and business operations, we have obtained an AAA credit rating for twelve consecutive years. On June 23, 2010, we were listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with the code 002438.SZ, abbreviated as Jiangsu Shentong, became the first listed company in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province.
Our special valves for the metallurgical industry are primarily utilized for dry dedusting and gas recovery of blast furnaces, and other energy-saving and emission-reduction systems in the industry. We supply over 70% of this kind of valves in the Chinese market. Additionally, we are a leading domestic supplier of abrasion-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and low-leakage valves for demanding conditions in the energy and petrochemical industries, as well as nuclear-grade butterfly and ball valves in China. We are a key high-tech enterprise of the National Torch Plan, a single-item champion demonstration enterprise awarded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a national advantageous enterprise of intellectual property, a high-tech enterprise of Jiangsu Province, one of the first batch of innovative enterprises in Jiangsu Province, a demonstration enterprise in energy-saving and emission reduction in Jiangsu Province, an exemplary enterprise in the standardized management of intellectual property in Jiangsu Province, and an innovative enterprise in petroleum and chemical technologies awarded by CPCIF. We also take the position of the Vice Chairman of the China Valve Industry Association, an institutional member of the China Valve Standardization Committee, a leader entity of the Butterfly Valve Working Group of the China Valve Standardization Committee, an institutional member of the material supply network of SINOPEC, an institutional member of Baosteel Joint Research and Supply Center of Equipment and Spare Parts, and an institutional member of the Nuclear Power Equipment Localization Joint Research and Development Center under China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN). As our product brands, “Dieqiu” is a Famous Trademark of China, “Shentong” has been registered as an international trademark in Madrid, and “STV” has been registered in China. We have been certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API), the Bureau Veritas (BV) certification, the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, the ISO 10012 Measurement Management Systems, the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, the GB/T 45001-2020 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and the GB/T 29490 Intellectual Property Management Systems, and accredited by the CNAS as well.
We have established and operated an array of scientific and technological innovation platforms such as Jiangsu Engineering Technology Research Center of Nuclear Power Valves, Jiangsu Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Nuclear Power Valves, and National Postdoctoral Research Workstation. Furthermore, we have established and maintained close strategic partnerships with over ten universities and research institutes, including Southeast University, Nanjing University of Science & Technology, Beijing Jiaotong University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai Institute of Rubber Products, Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute, China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), CNPRI, and the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Among these partners, we have established an enterprise research institute with CNPRI. We have recruited one talent from the “Provincial Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program” and three individuals from the “Provincial Doctor Gathering Program”. In total, we have successively undertaken 21 national and provincial-level technological projects, including those under the China Torch Program, national and provincial outcome commercialization programs, the National Innovation Fund, and provincial technological breakthrough programs, and led and participated in the formulation and revision of 36 national or industrial standards. We have launched 54 products recognized as high-tech products by Jiangsu Province, and hold a total of 373 valid patents, including 57 invention patents, 314 utility model patents, and 2 PCT patents. Additionally, we have been honored with over 20 scientific and technological advancement awards at the provincial and municipal levels.
With the operation tenet of “creating value for our users, fostering opportunities for our employees, delivering returns to our shareholders, and creating wealth for society”, we run our business in pursuit of a strategy of focusing on expanding exports and bolstering our presence in metallurgical production, while concurrently developing in nuclear power, petrochemical, and environmental protection businesses. We aim to grow into a leading influential and internationally competitive manufacturer of high-quality special valves for the nuclear power, metallurgical, petrochemical, and thermal power industries both in China and abroad within 3 to 5 years, thus achieving leapfrog growth.
