On May 5, 2006, Mr. Huang Gaoyang, deputy general manager of Shentong Valve Company, and Mr. Wang Jinghui of Zhongyuan Company signed the supply contract of nuclear grade ball valve for export phase PC-2 nuclear power project on behalf of the unit. In this way, Jiangsu Shentong Valve Company included all nuclear-grade ball valve orders for the export phase PC-2 nuclear power project.

From May 26 to May 27, 2006, entrusted by the Science and Technology Department of Jiangsu Province, Nantong Science and Technology Bureau presided over the appraisal of scientific and technological achievements of nuclear-grade air duct valves. The expert appraisal committee composed of famous domestic experts such as Tsinghua University, the Second Nuclear Institute, and the 728 Institute gave a high evaluation of the batch of products, believing that the product is leading in China and has reached the advanced level of similar foreign products. Shentong Valve Company and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology to develop the air duct valve testing equipment, its advanced nature, applicability to these experts left a deep impression.
