On the morning of April 9, 2020, Dr. Zhou of Jiangsu University entered the opening report meeting of Jiangsu Shentong postdoctoral workstation in the company conference room.
The report meeting was presided over by Li Shu, vice president of the company. The expert review team for the doctoral opening report was composed of Shi Weidong, president of Nantong University, Ni Hongjun, president of Nantong University's School of Mechanical Engineering, Zhang Ling, chairman of Jiangsu Ousheng Hydraulic Co., Ltd., Chen Lin, vice president of Jiangsu Shentong, and Huang Gaoyang, general manager of Jiangsu Shentong Nuclear Power Military Industry Division. Wu Jianxin, president of Jiangsu Shentong, Wang Jingzhu, deputy director of Qidong Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and other leaders attended the report.
The experts at the meeting inquired about the preparation of Dr. Zhou's project "Numerical simulation and experimental research on fluid blocking characteristics of ball valves". After discussion, it was agreed that Dr. Zhou's project adopted the method of combining theoretical research and experimental verification, and focused on solving the bottleneck problems in enterprise research and development and production, and compiled relevant regulations for the enterprise to guide the material selection, structural design, manufacturing process and so on of product research and development, with clear proposition objectives, the research content is substantial, the research scheme is feasible, and has innovative significance and practical value.
President Wu Jianxin fully affirmed the research direction and content of Dr. Zhou's subject. It is believed that Dr. Zhou's research is of great significance to improve the reliability of valve products and even the safety and reliability of mechanical fluid systems. Dr. Zhou is also the seventh doctor in the company's postdoctoral workstation. President Wu hopes that the company will take this activity as an opportunity to strengthen in-depth cooperation with talents and scientific research projects in Jiangsu University, Nantong University and other institutions of higher learning, so as to realize the company's strategy of strengthening enterprises with talents and developing enterprises with science and technology. Wang Jingzhu, deputy director of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Qidong City, spoke highly of the report and delivered an important speech.
