From October 19 to 20, 2018, the preliminary plan review meeting of the spent fuel reprocessing pneumatic sample delivery system and key components organized by China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. was held in our company. Seventeen experts from China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., China Nuclear Longrui Technology Co., Ltd. and Beijing University of Chemical Technology formed a review team to attend the meeting.

On the afternoon of October 19, Chairman Wu Jianxin introduced the basic situation of the company and accompanied the expert group to visit the company's butterfly valve, ball valve, rubber workshop and valve characteristics laboratory. The expert group fully affirmed the company's production and processing level, technical research and development capability and testing capability.

After the workshop visit, the expert group inspected the principle prototype of the spent fuel reprocessing pneumatic sample delivery system built by the company. Chen Lin, vice president of the company, explained the principle, function, key components and control system of the prototype on the spot, and demonstrated the workflow of the prototype on the spot. The expert group highly affirmed the company's completion of the construction of the principle prototype in a short time.

Spent fuel reprocessing pneumatic sample delivery system is the "neural network" of spent fuel reprocessing plant, which needs to provide necessary analysis data for process control, safety control, waste liquid treatment and discharge. The principle prototype developed by the company is the first self-developed system in China that uses small diameter pipes and vacuum suction to take and send samples, which is mainly composed of sample bottles, transceiver devices, commutators, detection devices and vacuum suction systems.

On the morning of October 20, in the conference room of the company's No. 3 base, the expert group listened carefully to the detailed project plan and progress report introduced by Dr. Chen Lin, reviewed the technical documents such as the project plan design report, test outline, quality assurance outline and quality plan, and conducted full inquiries and discussions, and put forward good opinions and suggestions on the follow-up implementation of the project. The experts spoke highly of the preliminary work of the project team and believed that the project plan was reasonable and feasible, met the requirements of the task book, and laid the foundation for the follow-up process test and linkage test.

The expert group unanimously agreed that the preliminary scheme of the pneumatic sample delivery system and key components passed the review. The meeting was a complete success!
