2018 Valve Escape Technology Seminar Successfully Held in Our Company

In order to implement the national requirements for green, environmental protection, economy and safety of products in the energy application field, according to the mandatory requirements for products of valve products in foreign energy companies and engineering companies, domestic large state-owned energy companies such as PetroChina, Sinopec and other large private energy companies have requirements for the fugitive emission characteristics of valve products, the China Valve Association and Valve Association Expert Committee contacted TUV Rhine and Jiangsu Dongyuan Valve Testing Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct training and discussions on the standards and practices of valve fugitive tests API 624, API 641, TA Luft SHELL-77/312, ISO-15848, etc.
On January 30, 2018, the "2018 Valve Escape Technology Seminar" was held in the conference room on the 3rd floor of Jiangsu Dongyuan Valve Testing Technology Co., Ltd. The meeting was jointly sponsored by China General Machinery Industry Association Valve Branch, Rhine Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (TUV Rhine) and Jiangsu Dongyuan Valve Testing Technology Co., Ltd. (Dongyuan Testing). The key Chinese valve enterprises that came to attend the seminar included Lanzhou High Pressure Valve Co., Ltd., Shanghai Kaiweixi Valve Co., Ltd., Beijing Valve General Factory Co., Ltd., Wuzhou Valve, Visa Valve and Neway Valve.

The seminar started at 9: 00 a.m. on time. Mr. Zhang zongli, vice president of China general machinery association and full-time vice president of valve branch, attended the meeting and delivered an opening speech. Yu Weifeng, chief engineer and deputy general manager of TUV Rhine, made a report entitled "Analysis of Escape Leakage Standards and Test and Certification Practice of Low Leakage Valves", and Chen Lin, general manager of Dongyuan Testing, made a report on "Escape Leakage Test Practice of API Valves.

Before the end of the morning, Mr. Yu Weifeng, on behalf of TUV Rhine, awarded Dongyuan testing the title of "best cooperative laboratory for fugitive testing" and issued an authorization certificate. This also means that Dongyuan testing has been highly recognized by TUV Rhine in terms of valve fugitive testing capability and testing management system.


In the afternoon, the participants visited the No.1 and No.2 workshops of Jiangsu Shentong Valve Co., Ltd. Base 3 Manufacturing Center and the ball valve and butterfly valve workshops of Base 2 Nuclear Power Division. At the test site of Dongyuan Testing, the engineers of Dongyuan Testing demonstrated the process of low fugitive valve packing and valve installation to the delegates, and shared the key points in the middle. TUV Rhine's engineers also explained the key points of valve product escape test certification on site.

Participants have said that through this seminar, learning and deepening the understanding of the valve escape test standards and practices, especially the experience sharing in the field demonstration link can make them less detours in the design and testing process of high-end valves. This seminar allowed them to enhance the confidence and determination to develop international high-end valves!
In view of the success of this training seminar, China Valve Association, TUV Rhine and Dongyuan Testing will jointly help valve enterprises to carry out product certification of valve ISO15848, API624 and API641. In addition, the valve escape technology seminar will continue to be held to help more valve companies understand the escape test standards and successfully pass the valve product certification.
