On March 19, 2016, China General Machinery Industry Association, entrusted by the State Energy Administration, organized a prototype appraisal meeting of "bellows sealed top ball valve for liquefied natural gas (LNG)" developed by Jiangsu Shentong Valve Co., Ltd. in Qidong City. The experts at the meeting listened to the summary of the prototype development work, the inspection and test report, inspected the manufacturing workshop, witnessed some performance tests of the prototype, and consulted the relevant identification data. The appraisal committee believes that the "liquefied natural gas (LNG) bellows sealed top-mounted ball valve" developed by the company has filled the domestic gap, and its main technical indicators have reached the advanced level of similar products in the world, and unanimously agreed to pass the prototype appraisal.
