Nuclear power plant containment isolation butterfly valve passed expert appraisal

On May 8-9, 2008, the containment isolation butterfly valve of the million-kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant jointly developed by our company and China-Guangzhou Nuclear Engineering Company passed the expert appraisal organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation. The expert committee agreed that the product filled the domestic gap and reached the level of similar products abroad. The successful development of this product means that China's "second generation plus" technology of million kilowatt nuclear power plant with nuclear island butterfly valve all have the conditions for localization. Director of the National Development and Reform Commission Oriole and Chief Engineer Sui Yongbin of the China Machinery Industry Federation attended the meeting and made an important speech. Mr. Lan Shaomin, Executive Deputy Mayor of Nantong Municipal Government, Mr. Sun Jianhua, Secretary of Qidong Municipal Party Committee, and Mr. Xu Feng, Acting Mayor, attended the meeting to express congratulations.
