Heavy Water Reactor Nuclear Grade Butterfly Valve New Product Appraisal Meeting Successfully Concluded

The product prototype appraisal meeting for heavy water reactor nuclear butterfly valves (models: 900H2D642X-150C,150H2D672X-150R,400H2D972X-300C) jointly developed by Jiangsu Shentong Valve Co., Ltd. and Qinshan No.3 Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. was held in Jiangsu Shentong on the afternoon of December 23, 2019. Experts at the meeting listened to the report of the research group and witnessed the relevant tests.
The appraisal committee believes that the prototype of the heavy water reactor nuclear-grade butterfly valve product is successfully developed, and the main technical parameters and performance indicators have reached the advanced level of similar products in the world, and can be popularized and applied in nuclear power plants.
Wu Jianxin, president of Jiangsu Shentong and Wu Zhigang, director of Qinshan No.3 Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., participated in the whole process and made enthusiastic speeches respectively.
China General Machinery Industry Association Vice President Zhang Zonel presided over the appraisal meeting.
The appraisal meeting ended successfully with warm applause.
