The cryogenic ball valve and butterfly valve for LNG developed by Jiangsu Shentong successfully passed the new product identification.

On December 23, 2019, China General Machinery Industry Association and Kunlun Energy Co., Ltd. organized experts to hold a new product appraisal meeting for the localization of LNG valves in Qidong. Jiangsu Shentong Zhang Qingshuang Chief Engineer and Mao Lingfeng Engineer made special reports on the development of cryogenic ball valves and cryogenic butterfly valves. Experts attending the meeting also witnessed the performance tests of the products.
The appraisal committee believes that the cryogenic ball valve developed fills the domestic gap and reaches the international advanced level; the cryogenic butterfly valve developed fills the domestic gap and reaches the international advanced level, and some indicators reach the international leading level. The product can be popularized and applied on LNG receiving station.
President Wu Jianxin of Jiangsu Shentong participated in the whole process of the activity and made an enthusiastic speech: The new product identified today is the result of many years of successful experience in the development of butterfly and ball valves by Shentong people after many repeated tests, optimization and improvement. We can proudly say that what foreigners can do, we can do it, and we can do it better, and what foreigners can't do, we can do it!
Zhang Zongli, vice president of China General Machinery Industry Association, presided over the appraisal meeting, and Han Xinqiang, manager of Kunlun Energy Co., Ltd., attended the appraisal meeting and made a speech.
The appraisal meeting ended successfully with warm applause.
