2019 Jiangsu Shentong's 4th Innovation Culture Week kicks off

In order to vigorously implement the intellectual property strategy of Jiangsu Shentong Enterprise, actively promote the construction of intellectual property culture with "everything has room for improvement, everyone has innovation potential" as the core, and strive to create an atmosphere of "intellectual property leads innovation, innovation leads enterprise development" This year, the 4th Innovation Culture Week with the theme of "Striving to win gold: intellectual property and cutting-edge technology" will start on April 22, 2019 and end on the 26th. The content of this event is rich and colorful, mainly composed of four parts: the opening ceremony of 1. Culture Week; 2. patent quality management, IncoPat patent database practical training; 3. intellectual property intellectual competition; 4. intellectual property publicity exhibition board mobile exhibition.
At 8:30 a.m. on April 22, 2019, the event officially kicked off. Secretary Xue Feng of Qidong Intellectual Property Office, Chief of Patent Section Xu Haiying, leaders of intellectual property service organizations such as Sain Beiji Group, and leaders of Jiangsu Shentong Company and above, Attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Wu Jianxin, chairman of Jiangsu Shentong, pointed out: innovation is the fundamental way for the development of Shentong; innovation is not only a matter for technicians; patents are achievements, but not only achievements, but also a weapon of marketing and a means to protect our intellectual property rights. Chairman Wu asked: adhere to continuous innovation; everyone can innovate; the value of patents should be reflected in the market; actively participate in the company's enterprise management, technical design, product technology, intelligent manufacturing and other innovative activities, in order to jointly create a better tomorrow, give full play to their wisdom and wisdom.
In the past year, with the joint efforts and participation of all employees, Jiangsu Shentong was rated as Jiangsu's "Top Ten Innovative and Entrepreneurial Enterprises" in 2018; 81 new patents were applied for, including 33 invention patents and 53 newly authorized patents. Among them, there are 18 inventions, and the number of invention patents granted has doubled compared with 2017; there are 7 independently developed new products, which have been identified as scientific and technological achievements and new products and new technologies. The comprehensive technical level is internationally advanced, and some indicators have reached the international leading level.

After the opening ceremony, Mr. Tang Fangfang, director of Sainbeiji Shenzhen Branch, and Mr. Sun Juan, manager of Hexiang Smart Technology, conducted patent quality management and IncoPat patent database practical training for the company's technicians and intellectual property staff. The teaching adopts the form of theoretical knowledge and case explanation, which is easy to understand and learn.
Qidong TV station conducted a special interview with the company's nuclear power technology department and laboratory on the company's intellectual property work.
Since 2016, Jiangsu Shentong has taken the "4.26 World Intellectual Property Day" as an opportunity to carry out four consecutive Innovation Culture Weeks, each year with a clear theme:
The first theme of 2016: "Smart Innovation Drives Development";
The theme of the second session in 2017: "Innovation creates changes lives, intellectual property competes for the future";
The third theme of 2018: "the power of change: full participation in innovation and creation";
The fourth theme of 2019: "Striving for Gold: Intellectual Property and Frontier Technology".
