High-Tech Fair Held Low-Carbon Technology and New Energy Development Summit
Release time:
2012-11-19
The 14th High-tech Fair held the "2012 China High-tech Forum Low-Carbon Technology and New Energy Development Summit" on the 18th, and industry elites gathered on the spot.
The forum mainly focuses on the two major topics of "strategic emerging industry development rules and new opportunities for industry development" and "opportunities and challenges faced by the development of new energy automobile industry.
Zhang Guobao, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy director of the Economic Committee, and director of the Expert Advisory Committee of the National Energy Commission, said in his opening speech that China's economy continues to develop at a high speed and is self-sufficient, and it has become the world's largest energy producer and consumer. In 2010, it reached 3.48 billion tons, and the energy structure was dominated by coal, making it a major emitter of carbon dioxide. In 2010, the total emission reached 9.8 billion tons of carbon dioxide, facing huge pressure to reduce emissions. At the same time, the dependence on foreign energy is also particularly high, especially the dependence on foreign oil reached 57%. However, due to the large population, the per capita annual energy consumption has just reached the world's per capita level of 2.6 tons of standard coal, and the average per capita electricity consumption is only 1/2 of the per capita level of OCD when it is 3400 kW. Therefore, to solve China's energy problem, we should not pursue the per capita level of developed countries, but find a way out in innovation. The world energy industry is experiencing a period of comprehensive innovation. China's energy industry should seize this opportunity to implement annular innovation and break the difficulties in energy supply.
At the same time, the quietly occurring revolution has once again spawned new technologies and new industries, and geopolitics is also accelerating at this time. Who has mastered advanced and sufficient energy, who will take the initiative in the future competition.
