Qinshan Nuclear Power's cumulative safe power generation exceeds 0.2 billion degrees

Guangming Daily, Beijing, December 17 reporter Yuan Yufei learned from China National Nuclear Corporation a few days ago that the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant, the first nuclear power plant in mainland my country, has been operating safely for 22 years. According to reports, Qinshan Nuclear Power Base has developed into a world-class nuclear power base with the largest number of units and the richest reactor types in the world. As of the end of 2012, Qinshan Nuclear Power Base has accumulated 223.6 billion kilowatt-hours of safe power generation, which is equivalent to saving the country 82 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 0.25 billion tons.
