Two seminars on machinery industry standards such as "Safety Cut-off Valves for Hazardous Liquid Storage and Transportation Tanks" were held in our company.

On March 22, the National Valve Standardization Technical Committee led the organization of the "hazardous liquid storage tank box with safety cut-off valve" and "power station with high temperature and high pressure flat gate valve" two mechanical industry standard seminar held in our company base 3. Relevant experts from Hefei General Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., Valve and Petroleum Equipment Division of Hefei General Environmental Control Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhan Boiler Group Valve Co., Ltd., Nafuxi (Shanghai) Valve Technology Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Huahui Valve Co., Ltd., Wuhan Huako Valve Co., Ltd., Nantong Power Station Valve Co., Ltd., Shanghai Badee Valve Co., Ltd., Taizhou Baiguan Pump Valve Technology Co., Ltd. and other units attended the seminar., zhu Shaoyuan, a professor-level senior engineer at the Valve Research Institute of Hefei General Institute, delivered an important speech at the meeting.
Zhang Qingshuang, chief engineer of our company, and Zhang Jianhua, chief engineer of Nantong Power Station Valve Co., Ltd., respectively introduced the background of drafting standards and the handling of feedback from the draft for comments. Participating experts and representatives reviewed the two standards chapter by chapter and article by article, and passed the review smoothly. According to the views of the meeting, the drafting unit needs to further modify the standard to form a formal draft, submitted to the National Valve Standardization Technical Committee General Assembly for review.
With the development of my country's economy, in the joint ventures and cooperation of large-scale petrochemical groups at home and abroad, my country's petrochemical industry has continued to grow at a high rate, especially the fine chemical industry has gradually occupied a prominent position in the traditional chemical industry. Liquid tank containers are a new transportation Carrier and advanced logistics methods have been widely used due to their own characteristics and advantages. Many valve accessories are applied to the liquid tank. Each liquid tank must be equipped with a bottom valve for discharging the material of the tank, and a butterfly valve for auxiliary sealing is installed behind the bottom valve. The bottom valve is one of the key valves on the liquid tank, the valve body is directly connected with the tank, the valve sealing structure directly into the tank, the opening and closing operation is more frequent, which puts forward higher requirements for the sealing performance of the bottom valve. If this seal fails, it will cause leakage of materials in the tank, causing personal injury and environmental pollution. Therefore, it is of great significance to summarize the general technical requirements of safety cut-off bottom valves for liquid storage tanks and finally form standards to guide the design and production of such valves in China's valve industry.
