Hualong No.1 "butterfly valve ball valve prototype all passed the appraisal test

As of 15: 45 on February 9, 2018, the last prototype DN1000 containment isolation butterfly valve developed by the company for unit 3 & 4 of Fangchenggang of "Hualong No.1" of CGNPC successfully completed the earthquake test and end loading test. So far, CGN "Hualong No.1" Fangchenggang Unit 3 & 4 nuclear butterfly valve ball valve 7 prototypes, which lasted for 1 year, all passed the appraisal test!
CGN "Hualong No.1" Fangchenggang unit 3 & 4 project is the third generation nuclear power plant with independent intellectual property rights, which carries out independent innovation on the basis of CPR1000 and EPR1000. Compared with the products supplied by the CPR1000 before, the parameters such as temperature resistance, pressure resistance and irradiation resistance have been greatly improved. The prototype of the company can no longer meet the project requirements, and the products need to be redesigned and appraised. In order to complete the localization task of supporting valves for the new generation of independent nuclear power plant "Hualong No.1" nuclear power unit, the company's nuclear power division has set up a research team to carry out the research and development and appraisal of project products.
The successful completion of the project prototype appraisal test indicates that the company has mastered the key technology of a new generation of nuclear power plant nuclear-grade valves, and has occupied the technical commanding heights in the nuclear-grade butterfly valve ball valve market, which will surely give the company a head start in the future nuclear power market!
