On March 31, 2022, China General Machinery Industry Association and China Machinery Industry Federation organized a review meeting on "Technical Scheme for Selection of Main Materials of Circulating Water (Seawater) Butterfly Valve in Nuclear Power Plant" proposed by our company by video conference. The meeting was jointly presided over by Huang Li, President of China General Machinery Industry Association, and Sui Yongbin, former chief engineer of China Machinery Industry Federation.

The expert group is composed of experts from China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Shanghai Materials Research Institute, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Nuclear and radiation Safety Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd., East China Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., CGN Engineering Co., Ltd., Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd.
The expert group listened to the report of our company's technical plan and the introduction of Suzhou Thermal Research Institute Co., Ltd. on the corrosion performance evaluation of seawater valve body materials. After inquiry and discussion by the expert group, it is agreed that the cast steel material can be used as the main material of the butterfly valve of the circulating water (seawater) of the nuclear power plant of our company.
Our company put forward the "nuclear power plant circulating water (sea water) butterfly valve main material selection technology program" through the review, is conducive to improving the level of localization of nuclear power valves, enhance the market competitiveness of related products. As the chairman of the valve branch of the China Tong Association, the company will actively lead the rapid development of the valve industry and make greater contributions to promoting the localization of nuclear power equipment in China.
