Xinjiang coal gas to obtain huge financing coal chemical industry to meet the development opportunity

The Xinjiang coal-to-gas project has received huge financing from the China Development Bank, and the implementation of project funds will accelerate the advancement of local coal-to-gas projects. According to the "roads" that have been obtained, the investment scale of coal-to-gas will exceed 240 billion yuan in the next three years, and the coal-to-gas project is expected to enter the fast lane.
Recently, it was learned from the energy market in Xinjiang that the Xinjiang Branch of the China Development Bank will focus on promoting 4 to 5 key coal-to-gas projects located in Zhundong and Yili national comprehensive demonstration zones in the next three years, and strive to raise a total of more than 50 billion yuan. Xinjiang has rich coal resources, which provide rich material guarantee for coal-to-gas projects, so Xinjiang has become an important coal-to-gas base in China. Among the newly added coal-to-gas projects in recent years, Xinjiang occupies most of the seats. Among them, 10 of the 16 newly added coal-to-gas demonstration projects since 2010 are located in Xinjiang, with a total construction scale of more than 40 billion square meters per year and a total investment of more than 300 billion yuan. In the future, Xinjiang is expected to convert highly polluting energy (coal) into clean energy (natural gas) through deep coal chemical industry.
Affected by the pressure of environmental protection and the adjustment of energy structure, high-level officials have actively encouraged the development of coal-to-gas projects in recent years. In September last year, the National Energy Administration held a symposium on the coal chemical industry of central enterprises. At the meeting, it was clearly stated that the industrial policy for the development of new coal chemical industry will not change. According to the trend of China's energy policy, projects such as coal-to-natural gas and coal-to-liquid fuels will be carried out in an orderly manner.
From the perspective of environmental protection, the high pollution of coal is the main cause of haze weather. As a substitute for coal, coal-to-natural gas is a clean and high-quality fuel with relatively little pollution, which can effectively alleviate the pressure of environmental protection. From an economic point of view, as the price of coal falls, the price difference between crude oil and coal further expands, and the economy of coal-to-gas projects gradually appears. In order to promote the acceleration of coal-to-gas projects, in addition to the implementation of project funds, the National Development and Reform Commission has also accelerated the approval of coal-to-gas projects. Judging from the road strips that have been obtained so far, more than 20 coal-to-gas projects have obtained "road strips" this year, and the scale of coal-to-gas investment will exceed 240 billion yuan in the next three years.
