Securities Times Network (www.stcn.com) November 17-Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission has formally declared to the State Council to start the approval of new nuclear power projects. This time, the report is to formally approve the six units of the three nuclear power plant projects, which are expected to be approved as soon as November.
After the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan, China's nuclear power construction was at a low ebb, and the approval of new nuclear power projects has been suspended for more than three years.
According to China Business News, recently, the National Development and Reform Commission has formally declared to the State Council to start the approval of new nuclear power projects. This time, the report is for the six units of the three nuclear power plant projects to be officially approved, which are expected to be approved as soon as November.
However, compared with local governments and nuclear power operators, the fluctuation of nuclear power industry chain has a greater impact on nuclear power equipment manufacturers. A person in charge of a nuclear power equipment company told reporters that this year is the most difficult year for the company. The orders for projects under construction have been almost completed. If the approval of new nuclear power projects cannot be restarted next year, many companies will face "food shortage"., The situation of no orders to do.
After the Fukushima nuclear accident in 2011, China completely suspended the approval of new nuclear power project construction. It was not until October 2012 that the executive meeting of the State Council discussed and passed the "Nuclear Power Safety Plan (2011-2020)" and revised the "Nuclear Power Medium and Long-term Development Plan (2011-2020)" that my country gradually resumed the approval of nuclear power construction projects.
According to a person familiar with the matter, a few days ago, the National Development and Reform Commission has formally declared to the State Council to start the examination and approval of new nuclear power projects. There are more than a dozen projects that have been given roads before, and now several units have to be formally approved. This time, six units have been submitted to the State Council, which may be approved as soon as November.
Since then, the relevant state departments held a number of nuclear power work conference. In early November, the National Energy Administration issued a reply to the request report of the Fujian Provincial Development and Reform Commission and China National Nuclear Corporation, agreeing to adjust the Fujian Fuqing Unit 5 and Unit 6 project to the "Hualong One" technical plan, verify my country's independent third-generation nuclear power technology as soon as possible, and build domestic Demonstration project. This has strengthened the market's expectations for the restart of nuclear power.
Lu Xiulei, a senior analyst at China Chengxin International, said that the six units reported this time should belong to the three nuclear power plant projects of Hongyanhe, Shidao Bay and Fuqing, with an installed capacity of about 7 million kilowatts.
Among them, the second phase of Liaoning Dalian Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant, a subsidiary of China General Nuclear Power Group, plans to adopt the same technical plan as the first phase of the project, that is, CPR1000 improving technology to build two million-kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power units with an installed capacity of about 2 million kilowatts.
The Shidao Bay Nuclear Power CAP1400 Demonstration Project, located in Rongcheng, Shandong Province, is the third-generation large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor technology with an installed capacity of about 3 million kilowatts. In addition, the project plan has been adjusted to the "Hualong No. 1" third-generation technology of China National Nuclear Corporation Fuqing Nuclear Power Units 5 and 6, with an installed capacity of about 2 million kilowatts.
According to data from the China Electricity Union, in 2013, my country's nuclear power utilization level was 2.11, which was significantly lower than the global average of 14%. According to the National Energy Administration's "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" and long-term planning estimates, the total investment from 2015 to 2030 is 1.2 trillion. That is, the annual investment in nuclear power is 60 billion yuan, of which the annual investment in equipment will reach 30 billion yuan, and the market space needs to be released urgently.
Competitiveness continues to improve, nuclear power "going out" market is broad. "Hualong One" received worldwide attention at the first World Nuclear Exhibition and the China-ASEAN Expo in mid-October. It is expected that my country's third-generation nuclear power technology export will take the CGN Romania Cernavoda nuclear power project as a breakthrough, and vigorously explore the nuclear power market in Europe and South America with technology and price advantages.
Guotai Junan believes that the recognition of the third generation of domestic nuclear power technology will accelerate the restart of domestic nuclear power and enhance the expectation of breakthrough in overseas markets, and the nuclear power industry chain will be fully detonated. Beneficiary target: nuclear technology, Danfu shares, should flow shares, Jiangsu Shentong, Oriental industry.
