Modern coal chemical industry planning is about to release the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan"

The modern coal chemical industry policy that has attracted much attention is about to be introduced. Li Ye, director of the Energy Conservation and Science and Technology equipment Department of the National Energy Administration, said a few days ago that the "Coal Deep processing demonstration Project Plan" and the "Coal Deep processing Industry Development Policy" compiled by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Energy Administration have passed the office meeting of the director of the National Development and Reform Commission. It is planned to be released and implemented in the near future. Among them, a total of 18 key demonstration projects including gasification technology, synthesis technology, and large-scale equipment were approved, as well as 15 coal deep processing demonstration projects in 11 provinces and regions including Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang. Li Ye made the above statement at the establishment ceremony of the Coal Chemical Industry Professional Committee of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation in Beijing. Among them, the Coal Chemical Industry Special Committee includes more than 150 member units including China Shenhua Group.
"The National Development and Reform Commission has received a total of 104 coal chemical projects reported across the country. If all the applied projects start construction during the 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan' period, the investment scale will be as high as 2 trillion yuan." Li Ye revealed. He said that as coal chemical projects also increase energy consumption and water consumption, the state has approved a total of 15 coal deep processing demonstration projects.
It is reported that the "Coal Deep Processing Demonstration Project Plan" and the "Coal Deep Processing Industry Development Policy" are programmatic plans for the future development of the industry, so they are highly anticipated by the industry.
It is reported that 15 demonstration projects in 11 provinces and regions are clearly planned in the Plan, namely, 5.5 billion cubic meters of coal-to-natural gas, coal-to-electric heating integration project in Yili, Xinjiang; Xinjiang Zhundong coal-to-electric heating integration project, coal quality comprehensive utilization demonstration project; Inner Mongolia Ordos 3 million tons of dimethyl ether and other 3 projects; Shaanxi Yulin 1 million tons of coal indirect liquefaction, coal-to-electric heating integration project; shanxi high ash, medium and high sulfur coal clean and efficient comprehensive utilization project and other 2 projects.
